‘Open for business’ campaign initiative driven by Merri-bek City Council in partnership with City of Port Philip, Hobsons Bay City Council, City of Stonnington, Greater Shepparton and City of Yarra.
The initiative provides guidelines to help people open their new business sooner.
Permit requirements can be confusing to understand, therefore we grouped permit requirements by industry, rather than by the regulator. This means that small businesses can use these guidelines as a one-stop-shop. Each guideline and fact sheets provide information about planning, building, health, local laws, acoustics and liquor licensing.
